Business cards

Your business card is your introduction. You can design your card or have us set up cards to your specifications. Business cards traditionally come in a standard 2 x 3.5 inch size and are commonly printed on 80# or 100# card stock. We can print custom graphics and pictures on the front and back of your cards. Keep in mind that a two-color business card attracts more attention than one printed in one ink color. Letterhead

Letterhead is business stationery with a Union logo, office address, and other information printed on a standard 8.5 x 11 inch sheet. It is often printed on nicer paper, sometimes with cotton content and is customarily laser-printer compatible. Letterhead is critical in making a good first impression and expressing an identity. A good letterhead design gives your company or organization a professional image. We can use your design and logo or design a letterhead for you.

Envelopes

Custom-printed envelopes are an excellent complement to an office stationery supply. You can order letter-size envelopes to match your letterhead paper. Commercial business envelopes come in several standard sizes and are normally expressed by a number such as ^#9 or ^#10. Custom-printed personal envelopes are also available in a wide variety of sizes and colors.

Business forms

Business forms are documents (invoices, receipts, purchase orders, carbonless forms, continuous forms) used by organizations and companies to manage their office files, accounting, and finances. They are needed in any office, large or small, and come in various styles and sizes. We can print your business forms directly from your computer files or we can set up the forms for you. They also can be custom printed with your logo and, as always, the Union label.

Invitations and announcements

An invitation or announcement can be a dynamic statement as well as a communication. For organizational or business gatherings, invitations and announcements can convey the character of your gathering and may determine how many people will attend. Trade Printery can help you choose the right type of invitation for your occasion. We carry a wide selection of papers with envelopes to match, including standard blank paper stock and a range of designer papers. The most popular paper stocks are 65# and 80# cover stock in a variety of finishes.

Postcards

Custom-printed postcards are the fastest, easiest, and most economical way to dramatically get a quick message to your constituents. Trade Printery can print graphics and pictures on the front and back of your postcards. We print cards in two sizes: standard-size postcards (sent at Postcard postage rate) and oversized cards (sent at the First Class rate). We typically use 80# or 100# card stock. A postcard printed in two colors attracts more attention than one printed in only one.

Contract books

We can create your custom-printed books in two ways: copy-printed or offset-printed. Each printing process has its advantages and disadvantages. Books printed in large quantity are most often offset-printed. Smaller quantity jobs can be copied. Several paper and cover stocks are available. Your books can be stitched, perfect-bound, wire-O–bound, or comb-bound and trimmed to give you the quality product Trade Printery stands behind.

Newsletters

A newsletter can communicate directly and powerfully to your target audience. It is a branding tool that makes a statement about your Union or organization. Usually 2–12 pages long and printed on 60# or 70# paper stock, a newsletter can be published monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or just occasionally. Additional color can highlight information and impart a quality look to your newsletter. If your organization is on a budget, photocopying in black on colored paper is cost-effective and still looks great. In addition to printing your newsletter, Trade Printery can also fold and deliver it to your office or the mail-house of your choice.

Brochures

Brochures are single- or multi-sheet documents printed in one, two, or full four-color process. They come in several sizes and styles depending on the application, and can be custom-printed to your specifications. Standard sizes are 8.5 x 11 inches, 8.5 x 14 inches, and 11 x 17 inches. Paper stock varies, but often 70# to 100# gloss or matte text works well. Your brochure will have greater impact with two colors rather than one. Signs

Signs are one of the best advertising tools for your next planned indoor or outdoor event. Extremely flexible, signs can be printed in numerous sizes, colors, and materials using various designs and substrates. Trade Printery can produce signs up to 11.5 x 17.5 inches. If we can’t meet your needs, we can refer you to a Union vendor who can.

Posters

A very flexible advertising tool, posters are oversize sheets printed in one, two, or four colors and used for display or promotional purposes. Poster sizes range from 8.5 x 11 inches to 11.5 x 17.5 inches. (Larger sizes are available upon request—contact us for a referral.) They are typically printed on 80# to 100# text or cover stock. Promote your next campaign, Union gathering, festival, or opening with a beautiful poster.

Political pieces

Political pieces communicate information about a candidate or potential candidate running for a political office. They include postcards, mailers, flyers, door hangers, and posters. Folded mailers often use 60# to 100# matte or gloss text weight paper, and other pieces use heavier stock. Contact us for your political printing needs, especially when you want the Union label, and we will provide layout and size suggestions to help your campaign run smoothly and successfully.

Printed labels/hard hat stickers

Wearing a sticker is a great way to communicate a message. Trade Printery can produce labels for a variety of uses, including wearable buttons and hard hat stickers to labels for books, folders, and office filing or labels on a roll. Many labels and stickers come on a sheet so we can set them up on our computer and feed them through our full-color printer for a quick turnaround. We can also offset-print your stickers for vibrant color. Wear the Union label!

Pocket folders

Pocket folders have come a long way since the PeeChees of the old days. Presentation folders are typically 9.5 x 11.5 inches and come in a variety of colors, styles, and finishes. Pocket folders present your information in an organized and elegant manner. We can have them embossed or foil-stamped.

For short-run, fast-turnaround documents, our black-and-white copy machine will get your job done on time. Formats are 8.5 x 11 inches, 8.5 x 14 inches, and 11 x 17 inches for flyers, newsletters, and brochures. Postcards, mailers, bookmarks, and business cards can also be copied.

Numbering: We can number your forms, tickets, or any other piece that requires numbering.

Perforating: If your piece includes a tear or cut-off portion, perforating the sheet makes it come apart cleanly. We can perforate most weights of paper in the position you need.

Scoring: Occasionally cardstock is too heavy to fold well. We can score your piece so that it folds cleanly.

Drilling: We drill holes in most any stock to fit the binder of your choice.

Folding, collating, and inserting: Many newsletters, brochures, invitations, and forms need folding. Our in-house bindery can fold, collate, and insert your job, which helps insure a timely delivery.

Die-cutting: We offer custom die-cutting for your jobs, including specialty stickers and business card slits in folders or brochures.
